Aluminium 1060 is a commercially pure aluminium alloy, boasting around 99.6% aluminium content. It shines with its excellent corrosion resistance, high electrical and thermal conductivity, and exceptional formability. While its mechanical strength is on the lower side, with a typical tensile strength of 105 MPa and yield strength of about 45 MPa, it’s not suited for structural applications. However, it’s perfect for scenarios that require malleability and conductivity.
