Aluminium 1060 forgings consist of 99.6% pure aluminium, with minor additions of iron (0.35%) and silicon (0.25%). Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength ranging from 60 to 95 MPa and a yield strength of about 30 MPa, with elongation reaching up to 35%, depending on the temper.
