Their unwavering commitment to quality, consistency, and timely delivery has solidified their reputation as a go-to partner for clients seeking lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminium components for architectural, structural, marine, and transportation applications.
Aluminium 6063 forgings are primarily made up of aluminium (98.9%), with essential alloying elements like magnesium (0.45–0.9%) and silicon (0.2–0.6%). This alloy is celebrated for its outstanding corrosion resistance, surface finish, and formability. In the T6 temper, it boasts a tensile strength of about 241 MPa and a yield strength of roughly 214 MPa, along with an elongation of 8–10%. While it may have slightly lower strength compared to 6061, its superior extrudability and weldability make it perfect for applications that require intricate shapes and a high-quality finish, especially in architectural and structural components.

The forging process for Aluminium 5082 typically takes between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the complexity of the part, size, and the specific forging method used.
Aluminum 5082 offers high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability, and enhanced fatigue resistance, making it ideal for custom forgings in marine, aerospace, and structural applications.
Aluminum 5082's workability, characterized by good machinability and medium strength, allows for easy shaping during forging. However, its relatively low work hardening rate may require careful temperature control.
Aluminium 6063 forgings are extensively utilized in scenarios where both aesthetics and performance are crucial. In the architectural sector, they shine in applications like window frames, door frames, curtain walls, and trim, thanks to their excellent surface finish and corrosion resistance. In transportation, they find their place in railings, tubing, and structural elements where lightweight properties are essential. The marine industry appreciates 6063 for its use in fittings and structural supports that are exposed to water. Additionally, it’s also employed in lighting fixtures, showcasing its versatility across various applications.
