Inconel 617 Bars and Rods are primarily made up of nickel (about 52–67%), chromium (20–22%), cobalt (11–13%), and molybdenum (8–10%), along with small amounts of aluminum and titanium. This unique blend gives them remarkable high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance. Mechanically, these bars boast a tensile strength of around 1100–1250 MPa and a yield strength of 550–750 MPa at room temperature. They maintain their structural integrity even at elevated temperatures of up to 1093°C (2000°F) and exhibit excellent creep-rupture strength, making them perfect for applications that require long-term thermal stability and resistance to scaling or carburization.
