Phehlukwayo Metal, a reputable stainless steel manufacturer and supplier located in Cape Town, South Africa, proudly presents its high-performance Stainless Steel 316Ti Round Bars and Rods, crafted for the toughest industrial settings. The 316Ti variant is a titanium-stabilized form of 316, which provides improved resistance to sensitization and intergranular corrosion, especially during and after welding. At Phehlukwayo Metal, we ensure that every bar and rod adheres to international standards, guaranteeing exceptional corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and long-lasting durability. With a solid reputation for quality products and outstanding customer service, we supply 316Ti bars to various industries, including chemical processing, marine, and high-temperature applications.
Our Stainless Steel 316Ti Round Bars and Rods are composed of 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and a small amount of titanium (usually around 0.5%). The addition of titanium helps prevent chromium carbide formation during welding, which is crucial for maintaining corrosion resistance in high-temperature and corrosive environments. These bars boast a tensile strength of about 515–750 MPa and a yield strength of approximately 205 MPa, along with excellent toughness and ductility. The molybdenum content significantly enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-rich environments, while the titanium contributes to structural stability during extended heat exposure.
