The composition of Stainless Steel 321H Bars and Rods includes 17–19% chromium, 9–12% nickel, and titanium stabilizers, along with a higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) compared to standard 321. This elevated carbon level enhances high-temperature strength and creep resistance. The material boasts a tensile strength of about 515–750 MPa and a yield strength of around 205 MPa, while also offering good ductility and weldability. The titanium content plays a crucial role in preventing carbide precipitation during welding, which boosts resistance to intergranular corrosion. These characteristics make Stainless Steel 321H suitable for continuous exposure to temperatures reaching up to 900°C in oxidizing environments.
