The chemical composition of Super Duplex Steel Hollow Bar mainly comprises iron and includes a significant proportion of the alloying elements of chromium 24-26%, nickel 6-8%, molybdenum 3-4%, nitrogen 0.1-0.2% and tungsten, in minute percentages. All these elements impart a superior strength with excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-enriched media. It further consists of traces of manganese, silicon, and carbon. The tensile strength is 800-1000 MPa, yield strength is 550-800 MPa, while elongation can be up to 25-40%.
