Titanium Grade 11 Bars and Rods are made from a corrosion-resistant alloy of commercially pure titanium and small amounts of palladium (0.12%-0.25%). This alloy is known for greatly improving the resistance of titanium to oxidizing and mildly reducing conditions, making it ideal for chemical processing and marine application. Ductility, weldability, and strength are some of the advantages of the bars and rods made from about 99% titanium. However, resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion is also superior. Given their lightweight and high strength-to-weight ratios, they are versatile across industries. Titanium Grade 11 is a very good thermal conductor and well suited for applications where high reliability, especially under extreme conditions, is a needed requirement.
